Refund Policy
Welcome to the Legals page. Here you will find important legal information regarding Racer and its services.
Effective Date: March 03, 2025
1. Scope
This Refund Policy covers refunds for fees that may be charged by Racer (“we,” “us,” “our”) and/or event managers using our platform. Racer is an online platform where event managers can create race events, sell tickets, and communicate with participants. It’s important to note that Racer does not directly host or manage events; we provide the tools and services for event managers to offer tickets and organize communication.
2. Types of Fees
- Platform Fees (if applicable): Certain features of our Services may require platform fees, such as premium features or promotional tools.
- Ticket Fees: Event managers may charge ticket or registration fees for their events. Racer facilitates these transactions, but the ultimate sale is between the event manager and the participant.
3. Refund Eligibility
- Platform Fees:
- Technical Issues on Racer’s Side: If you were unable to use our service due to a fault on our end, you may be eligible for a refund of platform fees.
- User Cancellation: Refunds for voluntary cancellations of a paid feature may vary; consult the specific offer’s terms.
- Ticket Fees:
- Refunds for event tickets are determined by the event manager’s policies. Racer does not control or guarantee refunds for ticket purchases. If you have a refund request regarding an event ticket, please contact the event manager directly.
4. Requesting a Refund
- Platform Fees: Send an email to [email protected] within [X days] of the charge, including proof of purchase and an explanation.
- Event Tickets: Contact the event manager via the event listing on the platform or through their provided contact details to request a refund.
5. Processing Time
- Racer Refunds (Platform Fees): Approved refunds will generally be processed within [10–14] business days and issued to your original payment method.
- Event Manager Refunds (Ticket Fees): Processing times depend on the event manager’s policy.
6. Non-Refundable Charges
Certain charges may be non-refundable, such as taxes, payment processing fees (unless required by law), or third-party service fees.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy. When we do, we will revise the “Effective Date.” Continuing to use the Services after any update indicates your acceptance of the revised policy.
