Racer (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides a platform where event managers create race events, and racers/fans participate in or follow these events. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal data.

• Account Data: Name, email, phone number, and other contact details you provide during account creation.
• Event Participation: Data related to your registrations, ticket purchases, and interactions with events.
• Payment Data: Processed via third-party providers. We may store partial billing info (e.g., last four digits of card, transaction IDs) but never store full credit card numbers.
• Usage Data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, device info, and other analytical data.
• Communications: Any messages or posts you make on event pages, community forums, or direct messages.
• User-Generated Content (UGC): Any content you post or upload, including images, comments, or event-related media.

• Service Provision: To manage your account, process payments, and facilitate participation in events.

• With Event Managers: We share relevant participant data (e.g., name, email) with event organizers.
• Third-Party Services: We use trusted providers for hosting, payments, analytics, etc., who access only what's necessary.

5. User-Generated Content (UGC) and Community Safety

You may post or upload content (e.g., comments, images, event-related media) to Racer. By doing so, you:

• Retain ownership of your content.
• Grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in relation to the Services.
• Must not post content that violates our Community Guidelines or applicable laws.

To ensure compliance with safety and moderation requirements (including Apple App Store Guideline 1.2.0), we have implemented the following measures:

• Content Moderation: All user-generated content is reviewed by our admin team. Any inappropriate content is removed promptly, typically within 24 hours or less after being flagged or detected.
• User Reporting Tools: Users can report any content or user they find inappropriate directly within the app using the report function available on each content item.
• Blocking and Abuse Prevention: Users can report other users, and our admins can block users who violate our policies. We are also implementing a user-to-user blocking feature in an upcoming update, allowing users to block others directly and prevent unwanted interactions.
• Content Removal Process: Our admin team actively monitors reported content and removes any content or accounts violating our community guidelines within 24 hours of receiving a report.
• Community Guidelines and Terms of Use: We have drafted comprehensive Community Guidelines and Terms of Use that clearly outline acceptable content and behavior. These documents will be accessible within the app’s Settings/About/Help section and presented to all users before completing registration.
• Age Restriction: Our app is strictly for users aged 16 and above, enforced during signup where users must confirm their age and agree to our terms.

We are committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all users and will continue refining these policies to comply with applicable regulations and platform requirements.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill our legal obligations. When no longer needed, data is securely deleted or anonymized.

We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data. However, no system is entirely secure—use the Services at your own risk.
